Join Penny Olsen – movement coachKath Irvine – organic food gardener and Ange Palmer – medical herbalist , for a 3 day getaway, rich in learning and restoration. This is a small, intimate gathering – we have space for 10 participants.

At the heart of our teachings, is connection, and together we’ll explore simple, practical tools to deepen your relationship to your body, your garden + yourself

  • Tend to your body while you tend to your plants.  Penny helps you cultivate new movement habits that will transform your gardening life.
  • Keep it simple! Kath unwinds your worried mind and shows you how easy your food garden can be. Slow down and listen to what your plants and land are telling you.
  • Nature’s medicines are all around us – Ange introduces some herbal + native healers and guides us in breathwork + yoga to help let the outside world go and connect with your inner self.

Slowing down is the path to connection. This is an important part of our weekend together and we’ve left plenty of space to walk and swim and rest and play and most importantly, to be.

Accomodation

The Baton House is a very special place – a replica of the hotel that was on the site in the 1860s. Tucked away in the tranquil, scenic Baton Valley on the boundary of Kahurangi National Park – it’s the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

There are a variety of sleeping options including shared rooms and a tipi – we’ll choose beds on arrival. Your own tent or camper is an option as well.

Kai:

Fully catered. Nourishing, vegetarian, wholefood meals are provided, along with snacks, herb teas and coffee.

  2. Hi Kath, I would love to come, but is it possible for me to have my own room? whenever I go on a yoga retreat I don’t sleep because of having to share.
Hope you’re both well and happy x

  3. Special way to spend your birthday. I’m already away that weekend but will be thinking of you and all those other lucky wāhine that get to learn and be restored.
