Come Hear Me Talk Fruit Trees!

Sun, 24 Aug, 2:30pm – 4:30pm @ Firebird Cafe, Levin

Top of the fruit tree to-do-list at this time of year, is to check your fruit trees for health and vigour before they get going again in spring. With that knowledge in hand, you’ll be able to decide whether or not your trees need compost or mulch, and whether to prune them now or in summer.

I’ll show you how to prime them for the season ahead and set the scene for good health – get out ahead of pests, disease and poor vigour – its way easier and a lot more fun!

Coffee + tea + home baking for sale from 2.30.

Talk starts at 3.

    Hi Kath,
I really, really enjoyed your talk on Sunday. Unfortunately I could not stay to ask my questions. Just wondering if you can answer a couple I have. First, just wondering what soil you use to propagate seeds? Second, how close can you plant fruit trees? and can I sneak in a third? I was wondering about a book launch you mentioned, was it 28th September? Will you be giving a talk like Sunday?
    Cheers,
    Vorrei
