We fling our gates open on the 25th March 10am – 1pm, for our Autumn Open Day. Click here for all the info.
Come along – take a load off, relax! Enjoy the fruit and the flowers and fill up on inspiration! There will be tea, coffee and yummy cakey bits for sale, or feel free to bring your own food.
If you’re new to food gardening, its a great opportunity to see a working food garden in action. If you’re a seasoned gardener – we’ll be able to commiserate together about the challenges of the season past and compare crops. Or perhaps you need to escape, to find a quiet corner and enjoy a picnic in the orchard. Whatever the reason, we’d love to have you!
I’ll be giving a talk at 11am, chatting about the winter garden (attendance is entirely optional). I’m passionate about using the vegie patch year round, and hope to encourage you to keep yours going too. It’s especially important in winter to have fresh greens for the table, to keep us strong and well. And as for being out in the cold, crisp air – it keeps a bounce in your step and a sparkle in your eye!
